Season Change - Bye Bye Whipped Body Butter

Updated: May 4, 2019

As of May 1st I will NOT be selling Whipped Body Butter until September due to the temperature change and season. If you are available locally you can contact me and still make a purchase however it cannot be shipped at warmer temperatures. I personally use it all year round on myself. It’s great in the winter months for dry skin but I also use it in the summer, especially on my legs in summer to give that natural glow to my skin.

My Whipped Body Butter is a little different than the average recipe as I add multiple oils and butters all of which have huge benefits for your skin, as well as natural sources for color, to my product where as a standard recipe may use Cocoa, Shea and Coconut oil only. The texture of my whipped body butter is absolutely amazing, it is fluffy yet creamy and people love it however it must be stored in a cooler temperature, I would say no higher than 65 degrees, as it can melt very easily and take away from that fluffy creamy texture. You can put it back into the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to harden it again if it melts however there is no guarantee that the exact texture will be restored. Now, I could change the consistency by adding emulsifiers, stabilizers, and other artificial ingredients to help the product remain solid, but, at that point, the fundamental significance of having a homemade, quality-ingredient body butter will be lost at the sake of added chemicals which beats the entire purpose of starting my business to provide handmade natural and organic products. So when that time comes and you do make a purchase, please see care instructions within the description of the product on the online store to ensure the quality and lifespan of your product is secure.

I personally love both, body scrub and butter. The scrub is helping with dryness, removing dead skin and following up with the body butter gives my legs and arms a beautiful glow as well as amazing soft skin. I have my body butter in my bathroom, bedroom and keep 1 in my purse I have NOT had any problem with it melting thus far. Like anything else that has the possibility of melting I make sure I store it in room temp. However, I do keep stuff in my purse even in my car and if it looks more oily/watery I simply shake the jar or whatever it's in. I'm a Massage Therapist and anytime I use lotions/oils/oil base…
